10.7 Where a Member has concluded an agreement with another country or countries on matters related to technical regulations, standards or conformity assessment procedures that may have a significant impact on trade, at least one Member of the Contracting Party, through the Secretariat, shall communicate to other Members the products to be covered by the Agreement and provide a brief description of the Agreement. The Members concerned shall be invited, upon request, to enter into consultations with other Members with a view to concluding similar agreements or organising their participation in such agreements. 6.3 Members are encouraged to be prepared, at the request of other members, to enter into negotiations with a view to concluding agreements on the mutual recognition of the results of each other`s conformity assessment procedures. 5.1 Members shall ensure that their central government departments apply the following provisions to products originating in the territory of other Members in cases where a positive assurance of compliance with technical rules or standards is required: 6. The Technical Group shall submit a draft report to the Members concerned for their views; and, where appropriate, taking into account the final report, which will also be sent to the members concerned at the time of presentation to the proceeding. 11.2 Upon request, Members shall advise and provide technical assistance to other Members, in particular developing countries, on mutually agreed terms for the establishment of national standards bodies and participation in international standards bodies, and shall encourage their national standards bodies to do the same. . . .
